We were so excite this year for Gerald's birthday! Not only did he graduate to the big 4-1! But this was the first birthday in several years that he has been able to spend with family and friends in the US! He always has been deployed! SO trying to make it as fun as possible, we had a BBQ at my sister Rachel's and had some good friends from church, Shannan and Matt and their family. And I tried my hand at making his favorite cake, Pineapple Upside down cake. It was gone by the end of the evening, so I guess it turned out pretty good. We love Gerald and all that he has accomplished in his 41 years!
